Irish traditional music is played worldwide, by parents and children, adults and teens. In this workshop we’ll teach you at least one good session tune, using visual props to help you learn more quickly, and we’ll help you get that distinctive “lift” which is so essential to playing Irish music.

Multi-instrumentalists, Benedict Koehler and Hilari Farrington are renowned across the U.S. and Canada as teachers and performers of Irish traditional music. Founders of the Vermont School of Irish Traditional Music, this couple has helped to create and promote a thriving Irish music community in the state.
